It's easy for anyone to become overwhelmed, especially when we attempt to do something above our level. There's a reason video games start off with weaker enemies and then increase the difficulty. This worksheet utilizes video game terminology to encourage goal setting, using smaller goals to help tackle a larger goal (or final boss). Great to use with kids and teens who play video games and are feeling overwhelmed by a big task. Worksheet should take between 5-10 minutes and can be used for a variety of big goals.
This tool combines mental health and pop culture which is helpful when attempting therapy with children/adolescents.
